Hello, interested public! A few choice items on a relatively slow news week (in our little corner of interest, at least): Senator Booker introduced legislation that would create a national right to counsel in eviction, Legal Aid Alberta reported that the Ministry of Justice suddenly halted ongoing negotiations over its governance agreement, and the Bronx Defenders’ Union may be on strike by the end of the month.
